Mjabulisi no Mnotho – Isibutubutu (Free Audio)

Mjabulisi no Mnotho bring Khaya and Sphephelo Ngcobo into the picture on “Isibutubutu”, a Maskandi collaboration taken from the project Ulova. With three names connected to the track, the song offers followers of contemporary Maskandi a meeting point between the primary act and two featured artists.

The collaboration is the clearest reason to pay attention here. Khaya and Sphephelo Ngcobo both appear as guests, giving people who already know any of the artists a chance to discover the others through one release. Mjabulisi no Mnotho remain at the centre, while the features expand the line-up around “Isibutubutu”.

Its place on Ulova also means the track can be heard as more than a standalone release. Anyone who discovers Mjabulisi no Mnotho through this collaboration can move from “Isibutubutu” into the rest of the project, while those already familiar with Ulova have another song to revisit within it.

As new Maskandi music keeps arriving, collaborations like this give followers of the genre more names and projects to connect. Check out “Isibutubutu” by Mjabulisi no Mnotho featuring Khaya and Sphephelo Ngcobo, then explore Ulova for the full project.
