KWAMATHUNYWA UPHUTHU

Mroza Fakude brings a 10-track Maskandi album to the table with KWAMATHUNYWA UPHUTHU, released on 5 November 2026. The project carries a focused solo billing throughout its tracklist, keeping the attention on Fakude across a full set of songs.

The album opens with Kusempondo zankomo before moving through titles including Umjolo uyaphela, Amaphoyisa part2 and Ngisayoxhumana nonkulunkulu. Umlando wami and Kubo kwamali follow in the middle of the tracklist, giving the project a clear run of individually titled cuts before the title track arrives at number seven.

KWAMATHUNYWA UPHUTHU also includes Sipholiswe ngabanye and Iqili neqola, adding to a tracklist that stays centred on Mroza Fakude from start to finish. There are no listed guest artists on the album, making the release a straightforward showcase of Fakude’s Maskandi offering.

The closing stretch begins with the title track before moving into Sipholiswe ngabanye and Iqili neqola, with Lala uphumule bringing the album to an end. That final placement gives the project a concise finish after ten tracks.

With its complete tracklist now set, KWAMATHUNYWA UPHUTHU gives Maskandi listeners a new Mroza Fakude album to explore from its opening song through to the closing Lala uphumule.
